Ricky Gervais joins 'Curb,' Stephen Collins in 'No Ordinary Family'
Gervais will guest-star in an episode of "Curb's" eighth season, The Live Feed reports. He'll be playing himself, and his episode will be in the second half of the season. The new episodes are scheduled to premiere sometime next year.
David and Gervais were panelists (along with Madonna) on an episode of the Jerry Seinfeld-produced "Marriage Ref" in March.
- Former "7th Heaven" patriarch Stephen Collins has joined the cast of ABC's new show "No Ordinary Family."
The show centers on a family headed by Michael Chiklis and Julie Benz who, after a plane crash in the Amazon rainforest, discover that they've developed superpowers. Benz ("Dexter") plays a scientist, and Collins, who was billed as a guest star in the pilot, plays her boss, The Live Feed says.
Collins is the second "7th Heaven" alum to book a new TV job in recent days. Barry Watson will be guesting on Lifetime's "Drop Dead Diva" later this season.
