Rihanna three hours late to concert with no excuse
Rihanna has earned the ire of her fans for arriving three hours late to a recent Boston concert and not even offering up an excuse for the delay. When the singer did take to the stage on May 6, she performed with what attendees felt wasn't her full effort.
RiRi was originally scheduled to perform in March, but had to delay the concert because she became ill. As there was no opening act before her, Rihanna's late arrival during Monday's Boston show was blatant. At this point she hasn't given a reason for her tardiness, and she also seems oblivious to fans' anger.
"#BOSTON I will never forget this night!!! I truly have deeper love for you now!!! Thank you for making it extra special!! #DWT," she tweets.
According to the venue's Twitter, Rihanna dedicated her encore song "Diamonds" to Boston, a city that recently suffered a terrible attack. "They robbed you of your peace, but not you're dignity Boston," she reportedly said.
