Rooney Mara, who will definitely be bursting onto the scene in a big way when "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" opens nationwide, is the latest Allure cover girl. In the magazine, she talks about the nudity, piercings and tattoos required of her to play the famous Lisbeth Salander, plus a few other fun things.

On her early career role on "Law & Order: SVU":

"It was so awful. So stupid. People are obsessed with that show. I don't get it. Me and my boyfriend--although I don't look old enough to have a boyfriend--went and beat up these fat people, and at the end of the show you find out that I used to be obese and I hate fat people. It's ridiculous. Who would ever do that? Who would beat someone up because they're fat? And as retribution, they sodomized her. I mean, I've been sodomized since the beginning of my career. I should have known then it would come full circle."

On working with her sister Kate Mara (currently starring on "American Horror Story"):

"[My sister and I] are just completely different as people. We haven't found anything that we'd want to do together yet. But we do want to [work together] at some point."

On the piercing/tattoo guy, who is pictured below:

"That's the guy who actually pierced my nipple. And he tattoos me in the film. I did it in Sweden, and I looked on the website where I was going to go. They had pictures of all the different piercers, and he looked like the least harmful, so I chose him. We ended up loving him, and so then we put him in the film and had him come to the shoot."

On the "Dragon Tattoo" nudity:

"Nudity is such a huge part of the character in the book, so I never thought twice about it. There was no time for hesitation. I didn't have time to second-guess anything or be scared; I just showed up and was comfortable."
