Ryan Murphy may remake 'Rocky Horror'; Cynthia Watros visits 'Desperate Housewives'

"Glee" is airing its "Rocky Horror Picture Show"-themed episode next week, but series co-creator Ryan Murphy may revisit the film in the near future. He's reportedly talking with Fox 2000 about directing a remake of the 1975 cult classic. [ Deadline]

Former "Lost" actress Cynthia Watros has landed on another ABC series where strange things sometimes happen: "Desperate Housewives." She'll play a not-entirely-there friend of Bree's ( Marcia Cross) in an episode later this fall. [ EW]

Comedy Central mainstay Demetri Martin could make the jump to a broadcast network. He's signed a deal to write, produce and star in a comedy project for CBS. [ Variety]

In addition to the pickups NBC handed out Monday for "The Event," "Law & Order: LA" and "Outsourced," the network is also on the verge of ordering more scripts for "Undercovers." A "Chase" pickup may also happen in the near future. [ Deadline]

Former "General Hospital" star Greg Vaughan will guest on one of the December episodes of "The Closer." He'll be playing an L.A. cop in the episode. [ Soaps in Depth]
