Sarah Palin did not rise in Julianne Moore's esteem after HBO's 'Game Change'

sarah-palin-julianne-moore.jpg Julianne Moore donned the power suits and an Alaskan accent to portray Sarah Palin for HBO's miniseries "Game Change," which is set to premiere on the premium channel in March 2012. But Moore tells the New York Daily News that despite stepping into Palin's shoes, she hasn't grown to respect her.

She tells the NYDN that she "read every single thing" she could about Palin and "watched every interview" in preparation for the role, but when asked if she developed a new-found respect for Palin, Moore "raised an eyebrow and sighed deeply. 'No,' she said quietly," says the paper.

"Game Change," which tells the story of the Republican party during the 2008 presidential race, also stars Ed Harris as John McCain and Ron Livingston, Sarah Paulson and Woody Harrelson.
