'Saturday Night Live': Jim Parsons to make hosting debut in March

jim-parsons-saturday-night-live-host-gi.jpgIt's no bazinga: When "Saturday Night Live" returns from its Winter Olympics hiatus, it will do so with Jim Parsons as host.

The "Big Bang Theory" funnyman will make his hosting debut on March 1, NBC announced on Thursday (Feb. 13). Beck will make his seventh appearance as musical guest during the episode, promoting his new album "Morning Phase."

While it will be Parsons' first time on the series, his likeness factored into a recent episode of "SNL" in a big way. When alum Jimmy Fallon returned to host the show's Christmas episode on Dec. 21, he turned out a Parsons impression during a "Celebrity Family Feud' sketch that was aces. Might some revenge be in order?

Check out Fallon-as-Parsons on "SNL" below and be sure to tune in for the real thing with Parsons hosts the sketch show on Saturday, March. 1 at 11:30 on NBC.
