'Scandal's' Kerry Washington hosting 'Saturday Night Live' in November

Washington will make her "SNL" debut on the Nov. 2 show, and if it doesn't feature a "Scandal" parody with her as Olivia and Taran Killam as Fitz, we will eat our white hats. The musical guest will be Eminem, making his sixth appearance on the show.

Washington's first turn as host will come a week after Edward Norton makes his hosting debut on Oct. 26. Janelle Monae will be the musical guest alongside Norton.

The announcement of Washington as host comes a day after "SNL" cast member Kenan Thompson discussed the show's relative lack of diversity and said it's partly due to a lack of talented women of color auditioning: "They just never find ones that are ready," he said in an interview.

Are you excited to see Washington and Norton test their comedy chops on "SNL"?
