Per the Associated Press, U.S. District Judge S. James Otero sentenced the 36-year-old after hearing a video statement from Johansson.

"I have been truly humiliated and embarrassed," Johansson said tearfully. "I find Christopher Chaney's actions to be perverted and reprehensible."

"The Secret Life of the American Teenager" actress Renee Olstead, another of Chaney's victims, said in court Monday that she attempted suicide after the hacker leaked her nude photos.

"I just really hope this doesn't happen to someone else," she said, crying. "You can lose everything because of the actions of a stranger."

After being arrested in October 2011, Chaney pled guilty to nine felony counts, including identity theft, wiretapping, and unauthorized access and damage to a protected computer, in March.

Prosecutors say Chaney also targeted two women he knew, including a former co-worker. He allegedly sent nude pictures of her to her father. Chaney apologized in court for his actions but denied having sent naked photos of his co-worker to her relatives.

In addition to prison time, Chaney was also ordered to pay $76,000 in restitution.
