According to TMZ, Garber's longtime girlfriend says he died shortly after being rushed to a Texas hospital after suffering a heart attack. A show rep says the network is "deeply saddened by the loss of a member of the A&E family."

"Shipping Wars" follows heavy-duty movers competing to transport odd items that traditional shipping companies don't want to -- anything from a Civil War cannon to a water buffalo. The movers must figure out which shipments are worth the time and money to move them.

The show's fifth season recently concluded.
