Sinead O'Connor tweets cry for help: 'I'm in serious danger'

sinead-oconnor-glasses.jpgFor the second time in less than a year, Sinead O'Connor reached out to her Twitter followers for help finding a psychiatrist and medication after tweeting that she was in "serious danger," reports the U.K.'s Daily Mail.

Tweeting from the handle @vampyahslayah, O'Connor wrote that the controversy surrounding her recent marriage to Barry Herridge "has spun me off and I'm ill." O'Connor and Herridge married in December, then announced a split with him 16 days later. The couple has since reunited.

"me dont wanna leave me kids. or f*** up me work. im sorry worrying any1.. is just am sick and ireland s*** for finding help cant think of any other way," she tweeted.

She also said she'd broken her ankle and needed to go to the emergency room, though she added that she was hoping to get psychological treatment without having to "go in hospital."

And, apparently the plea paid off. O'Connor later returned to share a much calmer message:

"hey.. wanna thank all SO much for such great help today. have a number of numbers, contacts, etc now and appointments," she tweeted, adding that she was back on medication.

Last September, O'Connor also turned to Twitter to share a series of disturbing tweets.

"I have no shame around the fact that I can be shot into suicidal feelings by certain people's treatment of me," she wrote at the time.
