Snoop Dogg seeks gardening advice in YouTube video

snoop-dogg-trump-roast-getty.jpgWhile Snoop Dogg just sold a comedy into NBC, perhaps a more appropriate venue is HGTV as the rapper is now openly soliciting gardening help on YouTube.

Snoop - who has a fondness for green, leafy plants - recently posted a video asking advice from a Welsh gardner known for his ability to grow oversized vegetables, including an 84-pound rutabaga.

"When I do my show in Cardiff, I want you to come backstage and see me, because I do vegetation myself and I want to know your secret so I can show you my vegetables and see if you can grow that into a real big vegetable," Snoop Dogg says in the video.

But the gardener, Ian Neale, wasn't interested. According to reports he responded, "It's very nice to be asked, but I'm more of a Country and Western man myself."

It doesn't hurt to ask.
