'Snow White' battle: Kristen Stewart vs. Lily Collins

Both young actresses are set to take on the role of "Snow White" in upcoming adaptions of the  fairy tale and there already seems to be a little bit of friendly competition between the two films.

"Twilight's" Stewart will star as the fair-skinned one in "Snow White and the Huntsman," in which the Huntsman who is ordered to kill Snow White ends up becoming her protector and mentor in a quest to vanquish the Evil Queen. "Thor's" Chris Hemsworth will play the Huntsman while Charlize Theron will take on the role of the Evil Queen. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on June 1, 2012.

Up-and-comer Collins (who is dating Stewart's "Twilight" co-star Taylor Lautner) will tackle the role in "The Brothers Grimm: Snow White," which puts a dark twist on the classic fairy tale, in which Snow White and the seven dwarfs look to reclaim their destroyed kingdom. Julia Roberts will play the Evil Queen and "The Social Network's" breakout star Armie Hammer will play Prince Andrew. Collins' version opens on Mar. 16, 2012.

Hammer recently chatted with E! about Collins as Snow White, saying, "It's like she was born to play Snow White. She just has that look, and she carries herself like a girl who's petite, but also, when she gets a sword in her hand...It's perfect."

Your move, Hemsworth!
