'Sons of Anarchy': Donal Logue officially returning for Season 6

donal-logue-sons-of-anarchy-fx.jpgThe way Season 5 of "Sons of Anarchy" ended, it seemed all but certain that Donal Logue would be back for the FX show's sixth season. It's now official.

FX confirms to Zap2it that Logue will be back as former U.S. Marshal Lee Toric, who has it out for SAMCRO after Otto ("Sons" creator Kurt Sutter) stabbed his sister, a prison nurse, to death.

Sutter said after the Season 5 finale that the show made a deal with Logue to appear in at least 10 episodes. He was in three episodes in Season 5, leaving at least seven more for the coming season.

It will be a busy year for Logue. He appears in the History Channel series "Vikings," which premieres Sunday (March 3), and will be a regular on Season 2 of BBC America's "Copper." The latter is filming now and therefore won't conflict with the "Sons of Anarchy" schedule.

"Sons of Anarchy" will kick off its sixth season on FX in the fall.
