It's a boy for Sugarland singer Jennifer Nettles and her husband, Justin Miller! The couple released a statement on Thursday (Dec. 6) to let the world know the good news from the country-singer superstar.

So what did they name the new little one? Magnus Hamilton Miller is the first child born to the 38-year-old Grammy winner and her husband. They announced the tyke's imminent arrival back in June, and Nettles was visibly pregnant at this year's CMA Awards.

In a statement issued on Friday by the couple, the parents stated that they were "so thankful for all the prayers and support and are excited to take some time together as a new family." As this indicates, Nettles will take off some time from performing in Sugarland. She will, however, appear in the already-taped "CMA Country Christmas" airing on ABC on Dec. 20.

Nettles' Sugarland performing partner, Kristian Bush, was quick to tweet his public congratulation on the birth of the baby boy. "Congratulations @JenniferNettles on becoming a mom. I love you."
