'Suits': Are tuxes enough to make up for Donna's absence?
If Harvey and Mike banter in the office and Donna isn't around to make fun of them, does it really happen? Putting aside that Harvey was obviously depressed about his friend, he also doesn't do his best work without Donna there as his anchor.
As Jessica said to Harvey at the end of the episode, he's heading down a dangerous, reckless road. He needs to take a step back and examine his behavior.
That said, watching Harvey kick the ass of a d-bag is always fun to watch, and seeing him slaughter a smug rich guy who thought he could win a $30 million energy company in a poker game was a treat. But still: Was Donna there? Nope. Automatically not as good.
The B-story between Louis and Rachel was also fun, as they bonded over their mutual love of ballet and Louis recognized Rachel's skills enough to give her associate duties on a case. Unfortunately, her ongoing flirtation with Mike meant that they discovered what else was on Louis' dictaphone. It's hard to sympathize with Louis since he's always kind of a jerk and he did record Harvey's conversation, but can't the guy form one bond around the office? He's finally made a friend in Rachel and now that's gone to crap.
That said, let us pause to remember the glory of Harvey and Mike in tuxes. Swoon.
What did you think of the episode? Did you miss Donna too?
