Sylvester Stallone asks for 'compassion' following son Sage Stallone's death

sylvester-stallone-sage-rocky-v.jpg Sylvester Stallone is calling for an end to "the speculation and questionable reporting" concerning the death of his oldest son, Sage Stallone.

"When a parent loses a child there is no greater pain. Therefore I am imploring people to respect my talented son's memory and feel compassion for his loving mother Sasha [Czack]," Sly tells TMZ. "Sage was our first child and the center of our universe and I am humbly begging for all to have my son's memory and soul left in peace."

Sage, 36, was found dead in his Los Angeles home on Friday (July 13), and although an autopsy was completed Sunday, the Los Angeles Times reports that toxicology results, which will determine the cause of death, are still pending.

A director, screenwriter and actor, Sage began his career at 14, appearing alongside his father in "Rocky V," playing Rocky's son Robert Balboa.
