Taylor Swift's funny 'I Knew You Were Trouble' trespassing sign is real

No one can deny that Taylor Swift has a sense of humor. The 23-year-old pop star might be super serious about her love life in her songs, but she's self-aware enough in real life that she has a "No Trespassing" sign posted outside of her home that reads, "I knew you were trouble when you walked in."

Not only is the sign outside Swift's Rhode Island mansion not a joke, but it's also 100 percent real. Gossip Cop confirms with Swift's representative that the singer placed the sign there and it's "legit." Well, at least passersby will know when they're near Swift's mansion.

After a man jumped the fence at her Nashville home in late 2012, it was reported that Swift couldn't pursue a lawsuit because she didn't post a no trespassing sign. It also was reported that Swift just opted not to pursue the case, but we prefer the theory now that "I Knew You Were Trouble" is actually about that 24-year-old man who claimed he was her boyfriend.
