'Teen Mom 2' star Jenelle Evans engaged to Courtland Rogers: What's the 'huge reason' they're racing to the altar?
Just months her breakup with fiancé Gary Head, the 20-year-old mama accepted Courtland Rogers' proposal, announcing the good news on Ustream after Monday night's episode of her MTV reality series.
Later on Twitter, she wrote, "I said yes," along with a picture of her new engagement ring.
Although the pair have only been dating two months, Jenelle said he's been pursuing her for four years, and refers to him as her "childhood sweetheart" on her Facebook page.
"I finally gave him a chance, and it was the best decision I've ever made in my life," she gushes on Ustream.
"There is a huge reason why we r getting married so fast but too touchy of a subject," she writes on Twitter, "but I do love him to death."
But Jenelle, who has a 3-year-old son, Jace, insists she is not pregnant. She did reveal, however, that Courtland has a 19-month-old daughter. "His baby mama won't let him see her at all," she says. "It's kinda hurtful."
Jenelle also admitted that she had been suffering from depression. "A tragic event happened in my life [months ago], and I'd rather not discuss it."
Whatever the reason for the young couple's race to the altar, here's hoping Jenelle finds some happiness and stability with her fiancé.
