The CW fall 2013 premiere dates: 'Supernatural' Season 9, 'Arrow' Season 2 and more launch in October

supernatural-s9-premiere-date.jpgAs it did last year, The CW is joining the fall TV fray a little later than the other broadcast nets.

UPDATE: The CW has announced new premiere dates for several series including "Supernatural," "The Vampire Diaries" and "The Originals"

The network will have its first premieres of the season on Monday, Oct. 7 with "Hart of Dixie" and "Beauty and the Beast." That's two weeks after the official start of the 2013-14 season.

The CW's Wednesday ( "Arrow" and "The Tomorrow People") and Thursday ( "The Vampire Diaries" and "Reign") will also debut that week. Fans will have to wait until Oct. 15 for "TVD" spinoff "The Originals" and "Supernatural." "The Carrie Diaries" returns on Friday, Oct. 25.

There's no word yet on when the final six-episode season of "Nikita" will launch. "America's Next Top Model," which debuts on Aug. 2, will run with "Carrie" on Fridays at first.
