'The Good Wife': Amanda Peet and Brian Dennehy face off in 'The Art of War'

amanda-peet-the-good-wife.jpgCBS has released art and details for the Sunday, Nov. 4 episode of "The Good Wife," titled "The Art of War." And not only does it continue the drama's track record of excellent guest stars, but it marks star Josh Charles' directorial debut.

The episode description reads:

Alicia once again goes up against military law when Amanda Peet guest stars as her client, a female military officer accuses a civilian contractor of attempting to rape her in Afghanistan. Alicia tries to prove that he is not protected by a law prohibiting servicemen from suing the military. Meanwhile, a surprising new obstacle appears in Peter's quest for the governorship. Brian Dennehy guest stars as opposing council Bucky Stabler.

Exciting stuff. Dennehy would make an excellent adversary who pops up frequently, a la Martha Plimpton or Michael J. Fox. "The Good Wife" airs Sunday nights at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
