The newest member of the "Hunger Games: Mockingjay Parts 1 & 2" cast has been revealed. Evan Ross, son of singer Diana Ross, is joining the ensemble as Messalla, a member of the film crew that works with Cressida ( Natalie Dormer).
The announcement of Ross makes him the third new cast member introduced for the series' final two installments. In addition to Evan, Dormer was recently added, as well as Stef Dawson, who will play Annie Cresta.
Ross is no stranger to movies, with a handful of films under his belt. Most notably, he starred in "Jeff, Who Lives at Home" with Jason Segal, Ed Helms and Susan Sarandon. Most recently, Ross has been in the headlines due to his girlfriend, Ashlee Simpson. After speculation that the couple was together, they went public for the first time in late July.
"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" is set for a November 2014 release. Before that, "Catching Fire" will be in theaters November 22.
