'The L.A. Complex' star Andra Fuller on Kaldrick King's next move
"Kal is in a hole. He's in a very dark place," Fuller says. "He just physically abused the one person he can trust, the one person he can confide in -- the person he had true feelings for. He's in a very depressed state of mind."
Although Kal returns to work right after the devastating incident, Fuller says that's not necessarily the best for his character. "He's being forced back into the studio. And when somebody goes through a traumatic experience like he's just been through and he's forced to go back to work immediately, it's not necessarily a good thing. Things get pretty explosive."
But at least Kal is trying to deal with his anger issues. "You can expect a lot of self-reflection, a lot of soul-searching. He's questioning why he's the man he is. Why does he act the way he acts? Why is he always so angry?"
But Kal and Tariq won't be the only ones with a juicy story. Fuller says Season 2 will share more backstories, some near-death experiences -- you know, everything you'd expect from "The L.A. Complex."
