'The Office': Relive the glories of 'That's what she said'

office-thats-what-she-said.jpgAs Michael Scott shuffles off the "Office" coil Thursday night, we thought it appropriate to look back at perhaps his biggest gift.

That's what she said.

Below you will find a collection of "That's what she saids" from the history of "The Office." Most are uttered by Michael ( Steve Carell), of course, but there are a surprising number of them from other characters, including Dwight ( Rainn Wilson), Jim ( John Krasinski) and even Jan ( Melora Hardin).

Now, there are a couple of caveats: The video is labeled "Every 'That's what she said,'" but it's a couple years old, so TWSS-es from the past couple seasons aren't on it. (Our all-time favorite, however, is: Michael, in crisis-management mode during the "Product Recall" episode, proclaims, "I need two men on this. That's what she said. No time! But she did. No time!")

And, frankly, it feels like there should be more of them. That's not even to say that there are any missing from the seasons the video does cover -- we don't think that's the case. But the phrase became so ubiquitous (and useful) because of the show that we've kind of retroactively given it more prominence than it actually had in the show. "The Office" has employed it reasonably judiciously over the years, so it never really got too tired.

Anyway, take a look at the video and relive some of Michael's greatest (in his mind, anyway) comedic moments. And if you happen to get nostalgic for the end of Carell's run, we understand; we know it's hard. (That's what she said.)
