Congratulations to "The Vampire Diaries" star Alice Evans and her husband Ioan Gruffudd -- the couple welcomed a baby girl last month.

Evans, who played the Original mother/witch Esther on The CW drama, and Gruffudd celebrated the arrival of their second daughter in September, E! reports.

"We are beyond thrilled to announce the arrival of our daughter, Elsie Marigold, on September 13th. A little sister for Ella Betsi. We both feel very grateful and very blessed," the couple said in a statement.

Gruffudd and Evans met on the set of "102 Dalmatians" back in 2000 and got married seven years later in an intimate ceremony in Mexico.

This is the second "The Vampire Diaries" star to welcome a baby this month. Daniel Gillies -- who played one of Esther's sons -- also celebrated the arrival of a baby girl with his wife Rachel Leigh Cook on Sunday (Sept. 29).
