'The Voice's' Adam Levine: Anybody but Blake Shelton, that's our motto, he jokes
"Voice" mentor Adam Levine stopped by "Today" on Friday (Nov. 15), where he tells Savannah Guthrie that it's definitely frustrating that one of Blake Shelton's contestants has won the last three seasons.
"He mentions it all the time and I'm getting a little bit sick of it, actually," Levine laughs. Guthrie wonders if they all say, "Anybody but Blake" all the time and Levine cracks, "That's our motto this season."
"He's very charming and always constantly wins and it's really getting boring, we don't like it," Levine deadpans, but he adds that he's actually got nothing but love for Shelton, as they are friends.
"We never really got irritated with each other, it's more like we're all competitive, but it's all in a total friendly way. There's no actual animosity," says Levine. "We're friends, we're just messing with each other."
Levine also touches on a couple of other things.
On his rumored pick as 2013 Sexiest Man Alive:
"It's an interesting idea, I don't know. I know nothing. How can you tell if people are lying or telling the truth? Can you read me? I'm just as excited as you to see who they choose."
On his upcoming movie "Can a Song Save Your Life" with Keira Knightley and Hailee Steinfeld:
"That was a blast, I had so much fun doing that. It was the first big thing I got to do. John Carney, who directed the movie, was amazing. Thank god he believed in me to do it. It was so much fun. ... I was very spoiled by my first time out, it was an amazing experience."
On his possible upcoming wedding to fiancee Behati Prinsloo:
"We have an 'ish' time, but there's no actual date. We're getting there."
