David Morrissey's time on "The Walking Dead" might have come to an end (or at least it seems to have), and now he's moving on to new projects.

The Hollywood Reporter says Morrissey is making a shorter commitment for his "The Walking Dead" follow-up. Morrissey will take the leading role in the new BBC three-part miniseries "The Driver."

The thriller, which comes from "Shameless UK" screenwriter Danny Brocklehurst and is directed by "Doctor Who's" Jamie Payne, tells the story of a troubled taxi driver. According to THR, Morrissey's character "blames himself and his inadequacies after a family mystery and makes the mistake of accepting an offer to start driving for a criminal gang."

"The Driver" is slated to start filming in the United Kingdom this week. It will get a 2014 release.

In addition to this project, Morrissey is also in the AMC pilot "Line of Sight."
