Tim Tebow had a rough night in his first preseason game with the New England Patriots in Philadelphia on Friday (August 9), but his spirit wasn't crushed as evidenced by a locker room exchange later that night.

During the game, the third-string hopeful stepped in after backup Ryan Mallett got rocked by Philadelphia Eagles defensive ends Vinny Curry and Damion Square with 1:22 left in the second quarter with the Patriots leading, 24-14. Tebow struggled the rest of the game, but later in the locker room, this happened according to Washington Post reporter Kent Babb, showing that Tebow was still in his usual high spirits:

Looks like he's still the same Tebow, on the field, and off.
