"Today" recently featured a segment called "Dealing with divorce: How to move on," which featured actress Brooke Shields as one of the panelists -- and she gave everyone some insight into her divorce from tennis player Andre Agassi.

Author Laura Wasser, a divorce attorney, kicks off the segment talking about her divorce guidebook, which advises everyone to remember that a marriage is a contract and that a divorce should be an emotions-free business transaction.

Shields pipes up, regarding her divorce from Agassi, "I am divorced and mine was very quick and relatively easy, but it was an interesting thing because he -- quote-unquote -- did say to me, 'Be happy we don't have children or I would not have made this easy for you.' Endquote. And therein lies why I'm not there anymore."

Heh. Ouch. Shields and Agassi were together from 1995 to 1999 and married for the latter half of that time.
