'Touch' finale brings us closer to the mystery and makes us sob

touch-kiefer-sutherland-david-mazouz-fox.jpg"Touch" has had an incredible season, but the two part season finale "Gyre" gripped the heart and never let go. If you haven't had a chance to watch the show, make sure you marathon it this summer, because Season 2 starts this fall.

Though we had beautiful b-stories this week, between the tsunami survivors connecting over the internet, the incredible music ("Every Little Thing Is Gonna Be Alright" was the perfect song), it was Martin ( Kiefer Sutherland) and Jake's ( David Mazouz) story that was the main focus.

It was brilliant bringing back in older characters as we wrap up the New York story line and getting closure on some stories, but the big moments were Clea's ( Gugu Mbatha-Raw) "deception" and meeting the mysterious Amelia's mother ( Maria Bello). Astercorp is definitely hunting Jake and they faked Amelia's death. Amelia speaks! We know that from the video. So what happens now? Jake held his father's hand (sob!) when they meet her mom. They're in the right place.

But ... as producer Tim Kring told us earlier in the day, the show is going to be very different next season. Martin and Jake are on the run from the law and that's going to have to be part of the show. What will finding Amelia mean? The show has been so compelling this season and we can't wait to see what happens next. Is it fall yet?

Did you watch the finale? What do you think they're using kids like this for? Leave your theories below.
