Tracy Morgan: Comic brought down by Park City's altitude

tracy-morgan-getty-images.jpgJust hours after collapsing and checking into a Utah hospital, funny man Tracy Morgan was on Twitter explaining what happened. It turns out it the problem had something to do with Park City's 7,000 foot elevation.

"Superman ran into a little kryptonite. The high altitude in Utah shook up this kid from Brooklyn," Morgan writes on Twitter. "Thank U 2 the hospital staff. Back at work 2morrow shooting 30 Rock."

The actor had been attending the Creative Coalition Spotlight Awards at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival on Sunday (Jan. 22) when he passed out. He was quickly rushed to the hospital for treatment.

It was then that Morgan's spokesperson Lewis Kay dismissed any speculation that the " 30 Rock" star, who has had alcohol problems in the past, was under the influence. Kay says, "Any reports of Tracy consuming alcohol are 100% false."

A Park City Medical Center spokesperson concurred saying that no drugs or alcohol were found in Morgan's system.
