ABC's really hoping that you like to laugh at families this fall, as nearly all of their comedy programming revolves around some sort of family unit. Take "Trophy Wife," for example: The comedy finds star and producer Malin Akerman playing reformed party girl Kate, who's just become Pete's ( Bradley Whitford, "The West Wing") third wife.

On top of adjusting to married life, Kate's got to deal with Pete's three children and two ex-wives, played by Marcia Gay Harden ("Damages") and Michaela Watkins ("Saturday Night Live"). Flighty and inexperience as she is, no one in Pete's life quite likes Kate much.

Based on the trailer, the success of this show depends on how much you like and root for Akerman as an actress, as it seems the series is going to play around with the idea that she much win everyone over, all the time. It's not the most interesting of ABC's comedy offerings this fall, but it hardly offends, either.

Watch the trailer and let us know -- Are you looking forward to "Trophy Wife" this fall?

"Trophy Wife" airs this fall on Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
