We're now officially less than a month away from the fourth season premiere of HBO's "True Blood" on Sunday, June 26 at 9 p.m. ET. Can you feel the burn?

HBO has been doling out  juicy bits and savory pieces to hold us over until the new 12-episode "Season of the Witches" begins and now it has released a list of new and returning cast members, the episode description for the premiere, and episodic photos for the first two episodes of Season 4.

Wait: If you still need to watch Season 3 or need a refresher before June 26, "True Blood:  The Complete Third Season" is available on DVD and Blu-ray on May 31.

OK, move along, Truebies:

  • All our faves are back, plus the following returning cast members: Evan Rachel Wood as Sophie-Anne, the Vampire Queen of Louisiana; Lindsay Pulsipher as Crystal, a werepanther with ties to Jason; Dale Raoul as Maxine Fortenberry, Hoyt's mother; and Adina Porter as Lettie Mae Thornton, Tara's mother.

  • New cast regulars in season four include: Janina Gavankar as Luna, a shape-shifter who catches Sam's eye; and Fiona Shaw as Marnie, a witch whose agenda threatens the vampire establishment.

  • Here's the official description for the Season 4 premiere episode on June 26:

Episode #37:  "She's Not There"
