CBS' comedy block grew some Thursday, as both "The Big Bang Theory" and "Two and a Half Men" improved on last week's ratings and the network scored an across-the-board win, although both "Person of Interest" and "Elementary" were off from their most recent original episodes.

Elsewhere, both "The Vampire Diaries" and "Beauty and the Beast" dropped from their premiere numbers while facing a full slate of competition. NBC, however, got a bit of good news in "Up All Night," which improved on its performance from last week. "Last Resort" is currently tracking up a little, but its numbers may be a little inflated because ABC's affiliate in San Francisco carried an NFL game.

CBS drew 13.05 million viewers and an 8.2 rating/13 share in households for the night, leading second-place ABC (7.7 million, 5.2/8) by more than 5 million viewers. FOX took third with 5.5 million viewers and a 3.5/5. NBC (3.5 million, 2.4/4) was fourth. The CW brought in 2.4 million viewers and a 1.5/2.

In the adults 18-49 demographic, CBS' 3.1 rating led the field. ABC came in second with a 2.4. FOX and NBC tied for third at 1.4, and The CW earned a 1.0.
