TV Ratings: Figure skating just can't take CBS down

Blades-of-Glory.jpgWhile a rerun of "Harry's Law" took the top spot in the first hour of primetime on Saturday with a little under 4 million viewers, NBC couldn't hold onto it's lead. CBS ruled the rest of the night with "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (another rerun) which had over 5 million viewers and a 3.1 rating and a 5 share, beating "Blades of Glory" and "U.S. Figure Skating Championship."

"UFC on Fox" came in second place with just under 5 million and a 2.6 percent rating. From 10-11, "48 Hours Mystery" kept CBS in first place with 6.5 million viewers and a 4.4 share. Among 18-49 year olds, ABC's "Wipeout" (a rerun) was tops from 8-9. "Blades of Glory" grabbed their interest for the rest of the night. You have to admire ABC's sense of humor, airing this Will Ferrell comedy opposite the "U.S. Figure Skating Championship."
