TV ratings: NBA Finals rule Thursday again as Game 4 rises

The Miami Heat evened the NBA Finals with the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday night, and ratings for the game were the highest of the series so far.

ABC dominated the night across the board, opposite mostly reruns on the other networks. The exception was FOX: "Hell's Kitchen" was about even with last week, but "Does Someone Have to Go?" dropped some.

ABC averaged 11.8 million viewers and a 7.3 rating/13 share in households for the night, pending adjustments for the live NBA broadcast. CBS (6.5 million, 4.3/7) came in second. FOX took third with 3.8 million viewers and a 2.4/4, while NBC (2 million, 1.4/2) came in fourth. The CW drew 750,000 viewers and a 0.5/1.

ABC's 4.7 rating among adults 18-49 beat the combined total of the other four networks. FOX was the best of the rest with a 1.4, topping CBS' 1.2. NBC posted a 0.6 and The CW a 0.3.
