"NCIS" retained its crown as far and away Tuesday's most-watched show, and "New Girl" continued its strong early-season run among adults 18-49 (although it declined some in viewers).

CBS' other two shows, however, fell a little Tuesday night, and both "90210" and "Ringer" were down for The CW as well. So were NBC's "The Biggest Loser" and "Parenthood."

CBS led the night overall with a shade under 15 million viewers and a 9.4 rating/15 share in households. ABC (11.4 million, 7.6/12) came in second. FOX (7.9 million, 4.6/7) finished third, a good distance ahead of NBC's 5.4 million viewers and 3.5/5. The CW (1.4 million, 1.0/1) trailed.

FOX once again scored the top spot among adults 18-49 with a 3.6 rating, holding off CBS' 3.3. ABC drew a 2.2, even with last week's performance, topping NBC's 2.0. The CW managed only a 0.6.
