Summer programming has begun, which means ratings are a little quieter than normal. "Rookie Blue" premiered for its fourth season on ABC to the best ratings it has seen since its Season 3 premiere. Its lead-in, "Motive," premiered in its regular timeslot with a loss of about a million viewers from its preview episode on Monday. The "Save Me" premiere on NBC earned a modest 3 million viewers.

CBS' reruns won the night with 6.6 million viewers and a 4.3 rating/7 share in households. ABC was next at 5.3 million, 3.5/6, followed by FOX at 4.3 million, 2.6/4, NBC at 2.6 million, 1.8/3 and the CW at 799,000 and 0.6/1.

The 18-49 demo went to FOX's reality shows, however, with a 1.7, followed by CBS at 1.4, ABC at 1.2, NBC at 0.8 and the CW at 0.2.
