TV ratings: 'The Sing-Off' finale rises but CBS reruns lead Monday

"The Sing-Off" drew its biggest audience of the season as it crowned its winner Monday night, and it also helped "Rock Center with Brian Williams" draw its best numbers so far this season.

That wasn't enough, however, to move NBC much higher up in the night's rankings. The Peacock did beat ABC in viewers (though not in adults 18-49) for the night, but its numbers are also inflated a little because the network's New Orleans affiliate carried "Monday Night Football." At any rate, it fell well short of catching CBS' rerun lineup or FOX's original dramas.

CBS averaged 8.5 million viewers and a 5.4 rating/8 share in households for the night -- pretty healthy returns for an evening full of repeats. FOX (7.3 million, 4.3/6) finished second and was up a bit from last week. NBC (5.95 million, 3.7/6) took third, narrowly beating ABC (5.85 million, 3.5/5). The CW, which got a season high from "Hart of Dixie," drew 1.6 million viewers and a 1.1/2.

CBS also led the adults 18-49 demographic with a 2.7 rating, beating out FOX's 2.4. ABC finished third in the demo with a 1.7, followed by NBC at 1.5. The CW came in at 0.7.
