TV ratings: 'The Voice' lifts NBC to 18-49 win Tuesday; 'New Girl' and FOX comedies hold steady
The return of "The Voice" to originals after last week's recap episode meant good things for all of NBC's lineup, which was up across the board and led Tuesday night among adults 18-49.
CBS once again dominated the viewer race, although "NCIS" and "Vegas" were down slightly from last week. FOX's comedy lineup, once again led by "New Girl," was more or less even with its numbers from a week ago, and not a lot of people tuned in to the on-air debut of "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog" on The CW.
CBS brought in 15 million viewers and scored a 9.6 rating/15 share in households for the night. ABC (9.2 million, 6.4/10) came in second overall, beating NBC's 7.6 million viewers and 4.8/7). FOX (4 million, 2.4/4) came in fourth. The CW trailed with 865,000 viewers and a 0.6/1).
NBC led the 18-49 demographic with a 2.9, edging the 2.8 for CBS. FOX took third with a 2.0, followed by ABC, 1.7, and The CW, 0.3.
