'Twilight: New Moon's Peter Facinelli promises 'Eclipse' action

peterfacinelli_twilightnewmoon_290.jpgWhile some fans will be focused on Team Edward and Team Jacob, the cast of "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" wants action lovers to know they'll have fun, too.

Less than two weeks after director Chris Weitz and star Taylor Lautner promised a pumped-up second movie, co-star Peter Facinelli told AOL Moviefone the third installment is even more exciting.

"'New Moon' is going to have a lot more action than 'Twilight,' which I'm excited about, and then take the action in 'New Moon' and double it in 'Eclipse,'" Facinelli told the site. "I get to be a part of that action, which is fun because Carlisle is this calm figure. I think the vampire brawls are going to be exciting."

The actor plays Dr. Carlisle Cullen, head of Edward's clan. In "Eclipse," the Cullens and Jacob's werewolf pack must band together to take on an army of vampires created by revenge-minded Victoria.

"New Moon" rises over theaters Nov. 20. "Eclipse," currently filming in Vancouver, follows it on June 30, 2010.
