Twisted Sister's Dee Snider is 'not gonna take' Paul Ryan playing his band's song anymore

paul-ryan-dee-snider-twisted-sister-gi.jpgHey, Rep. Paul Ryan, stand up and tell the class, what do you wanna do with your life? We mean other than be vice president of the United States. We're guessing -- at least in part -- that you just wanted to play Twisted Sister's "We're Not Gonna Take It" as your campaign song, but no dice. According to the Associated Press, the band asked Ryan's camp on Wednesday (Aug. 22) to stop playing their 1984 hit at campaign events.

The wannabe veep's campaign, of course, says it will comply and cleverly responded to the request via an email saying, "We're Not Gonna Play It anymore."

"I emphatically denounce Paul Ryan's use of my band Twisted Sister's song, 'We're Not Gonna Take It,' in any capacity," Twisted Sister front man Dee Snider says in a statement. "There is almost nothing he stands for that I agree with -- except the use of P90X."

What do you think should be Ryan's new campaign song?
