"Two and a Half Men" Season 11 has cast Lynda Carter for a guest-starring role in an upcoming episode. The former "Wonder Woman" will play a version of herself on the long-running CBS sitcom.

According to EW.com, Carter's arrival on the comedy is due to the fact that Alan ( Jon Cryer) has nursed a years-long crush on the actress. How long has Alan been in love? Let's just say that the man has been smitten since the original "Wonder Woman" series aired between 1975 and 1979.

Comic craziness is certain to ensue when Alan finally gets a chance to meet his celebrity crush.

The new season of "Two and a Half Men" begins on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 9:30pm. With another main-cast switch -- Amber Tamblyn will arrive as Charlie's previously unknown, lesbian daughter -- there's a chance for some new, even after so many seasons.
