Vice Presidential debate: Joe Biden calls 'malarkey' on Paul Ryan's foreign policy characterization

joe-biden-paul-ryan-vice-presidential-debate-2.jpgDuring the 2012 Vice Presidential debate, one of the first topics was the attack on our embassy one month ago that killed Ambassador Stevens. And Vice President Joe Biden did not like the way Paul Ryan was characterizing the way the Obama administration handled it, saying their foreign policy is making the world more chaotic and us less safe.

Biden responds:

With all due respect, that's a bunch of malarkey because not a single thing he said was accurate. ...

This lecture on embassy security -- the congressman here cut embassy security in his budget by $300 million below what we asked for. So much for the embassy security piece ...Governor Romney, before he even knew the facts, before he even knew the ambassador was killed, he was out making a political statement that was panned by media around the world. ...

Before we even knew what happened to the ambassador, the Governor was holding a press conference. That's not presidential leadership.

What did you think of that portion of the debate? Who was right?
