The Green Bay Packers signed Pro-Bowl quarterback Vince Young to a one-year deal Monday (Aug. 5) after a promising workout at the Packers' training camp. NFL.com reports Young will attend his first QB meeting with the team Monday night.
Young will play second-string to Aaron Rodgers after taking a year off from the league. He was cut by the Buffalo Bills prior to the 2012 football season.
He played college football for the University of Texas, and was picked up by the Tennessee Titans as the third overall draft pick in 2006. Young spent five years with the Titans after being named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year for his rookie season.
Young has also played for the Philadelphia Eagles.
