Wesley Snipes ordered to prison

It doesn't look like Wesley Snipes will have a whole lot of time on the silver screen in the near future, as the actor has been ordered to prison for tax evasion. Yeah, cause that's the only reason.

Snipes was convicted in 2008 after failing to file income tax returns from 1999-2000. His attorneys argue that there was a jury bias in his 2008 conviction, and requested an appeal which was denied on Friday Nov. 19, 2010. Well sorry, do we expect people to just ignore the fact that he played MJ's nemesis in the music video for "Bad?!"

The actor faces a three-year prison sentence -- make that one for each of the "Blade" movies. His legal woes cost him the role of Hale Caesar in "The Expendables," and he was rumored to be up for a part in the sequel. Better luck in three years, Wes.
