Whitney Houston: Autopsy scheduled for Sunday

whitney-houston-gma-2009.jpgAn autopsy on the body of Whitney Houston will take place on Sunday (Feb. 12) just hours ahead of the Grammy Awards, where the music industry's brightest stars will gather to pay tribute to the singer who was found dead on Saturday at a Beverly Hills hotel.

Sources tell TMZ the autopsy will take place Sunday, but that results will not be released until a toxicology report, which can take days to weeks, is completed.

Several bottles of pills, including Xanax, were reportedly recovered from Houston's room by authorities and they're investigating whether or not a combination of drugs and alcohol may have led to her death.

Authorities earlier released a statement to CNN saying that they believed there was no foul play involved in Houston's death. Houston had a well-documented history of drug and alcohol abuse.
