The annual Thanksgiving tradition is back, as WWE presents the 27th "Survivor Series" pay per view. The build up for the show has been mixed, with the WWE Championship feud between Randy Orton and the Big Show not really being given much heat going into the show. Instead, lots of attention is being places on Daniel Bryan and CM Punk facing off against The Wyatt Family.

Throw in a John Cena World Heavyweight Championship defense, a couple traditional "Survivor Series" match ups and an Intercontinental title bout and you've got yourself a card.

Matches schedules for the show are:
  • Randy Orton vs. Big Show for the WWE Championship
  • John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship
  • Big E. Langston vs. Curtis Axel for the Intercontinental Championship
  • CM Punk and Daniel Bryan vs. Luke Harper and Erick Rowan
  • Cody Rhodes and Goldust, The Usos and Rey Mysterio vs. The Shield and The Real Americans
  • Natalya, The Bella Twins, The Funkadactyls, Eva Marie, and JoJo vs. AJ Lee, Tamina Snuka, Kaitlyn, Alicia Fox, Rosa Mendes, Aksana, and Summer Rae
The show kicks off at 8 p.m. ET, but the live pre-show will begin at 7:30 p.m. ET, featuring Kofi Kingston vs. The Miz and a Hall of Fame panel, consisting of Mick Foley, Booker T and Bret Hart.

Bringing Bret Hart into the mix is interesting because his most memorable WWE moment, the infamous screwjob, happened at "Survivor Series" in 1997. We'll see how many times it's references throughout the show.

Follow along with Zap2it as we live blog the whole show, beginning to end. Who will walk out with championship gold, and who will lose just a bit of their pride?

7:30 p.m. ET - During the pre-show, Bret says he's most looking forward to the WWE Championship match more than anything on the show, which is a lie. Foley says his go to is the World Heavyweight Championship match, which is even crazier.

WWE's social media lounge is baffling, because it's just a girl sitting in front of a TV with an iPad. She threw the Gobbledy Gooker a shoutout, though.

7:38 p.m. - That's right, Rey Mysterio just put Dusty Rhodes and Rikishi on the same level Sorry, Dream.

Meanwhile, CM Punk dubs his team with Daniel Bryan The GOATS. The Greatest of all Teams. The Best and the Beard works too.

The Miz is a bad guy again, though he's not playing up his heel persona too hard just yet. He's also still trying to do the figure 4 leglock, which is bad, because it always draws Rick Flair "Woo" chants.

7: 52 p.m. - Miz gets a clean victory over Kofi, and then his opponent smacks him across the face. Which one of these guys is supposed to be the heel?

8 p.m. - Because it doesn't happen enough on free TV, "Survivor Series" kicks off with a promo from Stephanie McMahon and Triple H. At least they keep it short, saying there will be no outside interference in any matches, which means there will be.

First match will be the five-on-five elimination tag team bout.

Cody Rhodes and Goldust, The Usos and Rey Mysterio vs. The Shield and The Real Americans

Dean Ambrose is the first man eliminated, care of Cody Rhodes. The Shield debuted at "Survivor Series" 2011 and it's very interesting to see where they've done in a year. Rey Mysterio, freshly back from injury, has still got what it takes for his high-flying luchadore moves.

Jack Swagger eliminated by the Usos at 8:20. Two minutes later Antonio Cesaro was eliminated after dishing out a couple giant swings. All that's left are two members of The Shield.

The Shield gets their fist elimination, with Roman Reigns taking out one of the Usos after a spear. He also gets one on Cody Rhodes, sending him out. Seth Rollins takes care of the other Uso at 8:29, leaving the two members of The Shield against Goldust and Rey Mysterio.

At 8:31, Mysterio rolled up Rollins for a pin, leaving Roman Reigns to fend for himself. Goldust gets taken out be Reigns, leaving Mysterio alone. Finally, when Rey goes for the 619, he takes a spear instead, giving Roman Reigns the victory as the sole survivor.

Winners: The Shield and The Real Americans

8:39 p.m. - Randy Orton is backstage asking for the Authority and Corporate Kane have faith in him. He still wants help beating the Big Show because he knows he can't. Triple H says he can, but smart money is on an interference.

Curtis Axel vs. Big E. Langston for the Intercontinental Championship

Michael Cole send out thoughts and wishes to the legendary Dynamite Kid, who recently suffered a stroke. Feel better soon, Kid.

Axel, somehow, is dominating Langston early on while the commentators talk about his dad, Mr. Perfect.

8:49 p.m. - It doesn't take Big E. to get back in the driver seat, though. He hits the Big Ending to win the match and retain his title. Less than an hour into the show and all that's left are three main events and the divas match. Slow it down WWE.

Winner: Big E. Langston

Langston is sucking up huge to the Boston crowd, talking about the Red Sox.

Backstage, AJ Lee tried to rally the diva troops, but isn't very good at it. She's not very nice to them, so why would they trust her? Other than the fact that she's the best?

Natalya, The Bella Twins, The Funkadactyls, Eva Marie, and JoJo vs. AJ Lee, Tamina Snuka, Kaitlyn, Alicia Fox, Rosa Mendes, Aksana, and Summer Rae

The "Total Divas" women are all buddy buddy in the ring, which seems to change depending on what week it is. It's also strange since they all hate each other on the show.

8:56 p.m. - 14 divas in one match, this is a bold move considering several of them can't wrestle. It takes less than a minute for the first elimination, though. Bye Alicia Fox.

Two minutes later and Cameron and Rosa are both eliminated. Never before has an elimination match gone this far. Then everything pauses for a dance off, which included the worm from a Bella,. Summer Rae gets the boot. Kaitlyn gets in the ring with Eva Marie and dispatches of her quickly. She also gets rid of Naomi.

Brie Bella pins Kaitlyn after a mizzile dropkick, but is quickly pinned by Aksana after some kind od spinebuster. Nikki Bella runs in with a sort of ... Torture rack buster? I'm not sure what that move was, but it looked painful. In comes Tamina, who fights Nikki. Nikki was never actually eliminated for some reason, but she was suddenly gone.

JoJo is in next, which is great since she's tiny and has one match to her name. Tamina is going to hurt her.

9:04 p.m. - Surprisingly, JoJo gets in a bit of offence, but it doesn't last long. Tamina hits a Samoan Drop and tags in AJ to finish her off. Natalya is in, and AJ tags Tamina back into the match. She taps to the Sharpshooter, leaving AJ alone with Natalya. AJ taps to the Sharpshooter alone, Team "Total Divas" gets the win.

Winners: Natalya, The Bella Twins, The Funkadactyls, Eva Marie, and JoJo

That actually wasn't half bad, quite a bit better than some divas matches that have happened over the years.

9:10 p.m. - Ryback then then interrupted the Hall of Fame panel who was talking about the show. He's here to insult the veterans, the fans, the arena, and everyone else in sight. He also wants to bully you into saying he's not a bully. He then issues an open challenge to anyone who wants to face him. So this is how they're going to pad out the show. Who needs good stories?

Hey look, it's Mark Henry! Cue the "Sexual Chocolate" chants! Henry's still got the massive bear, but he shaved his head. Looking good after going away with a torn hamstring.

Ryback vs. Mark Henry

The two big men knock each other around for a while, but Mark Henry hits a crossbody (Really) and a World's Strongest Slam for the win.

Winner: Mark Henry

John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship

It's a homecoming for John Cena, who's from the Boston area. The crowd is giving him more love now than the last several WE trips to Boston, so that's something. He's usually booed out of the building in every town he goes to.

Del Rio smartly focuses on Cena's injured arm, because, well, he's a smart guy. Anytime Cena starts to build momentum, Del Rio turns it around. The crowd also begins turning on Cena because his move set is pretty tired.

9:41 p.m. - Finally Cena starts to get some luck, but when he goes for the Attitude Adjustment, Del Rio reverses into a German suplex for a two count. He then missed the enziguri in the corner, allowing Cena to hit a DDT.

Del Rio does finally hit an enziguri with Cena's back turned, but it's not enough for a a pin. Neither is Cena ducking Del Rio and hitting a top rope leg drop.

9:45 p.m. - Alberto goes for the cross armbreaker, but Cena reverses into the STF. Del Rio gets to the ropes to break the hold and kicks Cena in the head, which is only good for another two count.

Del Rio gets the cross armbreaker locked in but Cena, being Superman and all, lifts Alberto off the ground and slams him down, even though his arm is surgically repaired and still injured. Cena hits the Attitude Adjustment for the win at 9:48 p.m.

Winner: John Cena

Backstage, Santino and R-Truth are playing with action figures.  Los Matadores, El Torito and Fandango all show up, along with Johnny Ace. One silly segment to shoehorn in everyone who happened to be in the building? Why not?

CM Punk and Daniel Bryan vs. Erick Rowan and Luke Harper

Bryan and Punk work together fantastically as a team, which isn't all that surprising, given their history. Per usual, Wyatt sits on a rocking chair on the ramp, watching the proceedings. Even with teamwork, it's hard to control those two big men representing the Wyatt Family. Rowan suplexes both of them at once in a feat of strength.

Rowan and Harper are dominating, with the former talking to his creepy sheep mask while waiting in the corner. After being put through the wringer, Punk is finally able to tag in Bryan, who goes on an offensive spree, which included a dive out of the ring and a big dropkick from the top rope.

10:13 p.m. - Before long though, Rowan and Harper have Bryan were they want him, with Punk down and out on the floor.

Harper hits a monster suplex on Bryan before going after Punk once more. He gets a kick to the head instead, allowing Daniel to tag his partner in. He takes care of Harper before diving off the top rope onto Rowan and Bray Wyatt. Back in the ring he sets up the Macho Man elbow drop for a two count.

Punk hits Go to Sleep on Harper to give him and Bryan the win at 10:19 p.m.

Winners: CM Punk and Daniel Bryan

Backstage there's a big of a showdown between John Cena and Randy Orton, foreshadowing a title unification match at "Wrestlemania" perhaps? That would mean Orton is WWE Champion for months still, so hopefully not.

Randy Orton vs. Big Show for the WWE Championship

10:25 p.m. - Somehow in the first minute of the match Randy Orton botched simply rolling out of the ring. The bottom rope gave him too much hassle, which got a nice laugh out of the crowd. Shoe has an easy time with Orton, until Randy hits a dropkick. Still, the champ's chest is covered in red welts from where Big Show repeatedly slapped him.

10:33 p.m. - It's the main event of "Survivor Series" and the crowd is chanting "boring." That should say all that needs to be said about the WWE Championship picture at the moment.

Outside the ring, Show throws Randy into the steel steps.

Big Show went to the top rope, but Randy countered and went for his hanging DDT. Unfortunately, he screwed that up too. Randy pulled Big Show out too far, so he was no longer hanging. Show recovers and hits a chokeslam for a two count. Show throws Orton into the ref, so he's down for the foreseeable future. That takes the fight into the audience.

Randy goes for the hanging DDT on the floor, but Show hits the knock out punch. As he throws Orton back in the ring, The Authority walks out to distract him, letting Orton nail and RKO. Instead of going for the pin, Randy backs into the corner. Time for a head kick! It's been a while since there was one of these.

Randy retains with 20 minutes left in the show. Making fun of concussions s back!

Winner: Randy Orton

10:42 p.m. - Well, here comes John Cena. The two champions are having a title belt pose down in the ring. Are they rushing a unification match for "TLC"? This should be a cool moment, but after that dud of a main event, the whole thing is ridiculously underwhelming and ending more than 15 minutes early.
