In the moments before their game against the Seattle Mariners, the Yanks honored the veteran player.

According to the NY Times, a tribute video played on a screen at center field. Then, Berra's friend Rod Guidry drove him onto the field in a golf cart. At home plate, he was presented with a birthday cake by Jennifer Steinbrenner Swindal and Derek Jeter. The crowd sang happy birthday to him.

Fans who came to watch the game on Saturday also received a commemorative Yogi Berra baseball card when they arrived at the ballpark.

One of the most beloved Yankees of all time, Berra won 10 World Series championships as a player and three as a coach.
