Zig Ziglar dies at 86 after battle with pneumonia

A statement on Ziglar's Facebook page says, "Zig Ziglar passed from this world today after a short bout with pneumonia. Though his time on earth has ended, he is speaking with Jesus now in his heavenly home. The angels in heaven are rejoicing and his family is celebrating a life well
lived."

Fox News reports Laurie Magers, Ziglar's executive assistant, confirmed the death.

Ziglar, whose given name was Hilary Hinton Ziglar, passed away in Plano, Tex., a suburb of Dallas.

The author was well known for his 1975 book, "See You at the Top," among numerous others. His most recent publication was 2012's "Born to Win: Find Your Success Code." He reportedly retired from speaking engagements in 20120.
