'Bones,' 'House' edge competition on CBS, ABC

"The Bachelorette's" continuing search for love brought decent ratings to ABC Monday, but FOX ended up walking away with the overall title.

FOX averaged a 4.7 rating/8 share for the night, narrowly beating CBS, 4.6/8, and ABC, 4.5/8. NBC came in fourth with a 3.3/6. The CW managed only a 0.7/1.

ABC and CBS shared the top spot among adults 18-49, each scoring a 2.2 rating in the demographic. FOX was close behind with a 2.1. NBC averaged 1.6 and The CW 0.4.

"The Bachelorette" gave ABC the lead at 8 p.m. with a 5.2/9. A "Bones" repeat, 4.3/8, put FOX in second. Reruns of "The Big Bang Theory," 3.5/6, and "How I Met Your Mother," 3.4/6, were third for CBS. "American Gladiators" drew a 2.9/5 for NBC, while The CW was well off the pace with a "Gossip Girl" rerun.

ABC led in households at 9 p.m. with "The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All," 5.4/9. FOX's "House" (5.1/8), however, led the hour in total viewers. CBS stayed in third with "Two and a Half Men," 5.3/9, and "Rules of Engagement," 4.5/7. "Nashville Star," 3.3/6, built a little on its lead-in for NBC. The CW went with a "One Tree Hill" repeat.

"CSI: Miami" scored a 5.6/10 for CBS at 10 p.m., easily winning the hour over "Nashville Star," 3.8/7. "The Mole" posted a 2.8/5 for ABC.
